Yes—if you can match numbers, you can paint with our products. For cautious beginners, we recommend starting with a simpler 24-color template. Up for a challenge? Choose a design with smaller cells and more colors. There’s no single right or wrong way to paint by number—just find your groove and relax with the rest of us!

Paint by number is a fun activity for all ages, young and old! However, because our kits contain small parts, we recommend our products for ages 14 and up unless supervised by an adult.

Everyone paints at their own speed: Some people finish in days; others take weeks or months. Either speed is totally fine.

Good lighting, proper brush maintenance, and a comfy setup make the process more enjoyable over the long haul. We also recommend you try painting by number with a cup of tea (or glass of wine) and a playlist of relaxing tunes. Just don’t dip your paintbrush into your drinking cup—trust us, it happens from time to time!

Yes, we do! Paint by numbers is so much more satisfying when the paint is high quality and covers the numbers without multiple coats. That’s why we’re selective about our vendors and batch‑test our acrylic paints for solid coverage. If a color requires more than two coats for an opaque result under normal use, we’ll replace that paint pot free of charge.
